Greenmeadow

Greenmeadow is one of the most intact Eichler neighborhoods anywhere — 243 single-story post-and-beam homes built in 1954–55 to Jones & Emmons designs, planned around a member-owned community center and pool that still anchors the neighborhood's life today.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 28, 2005 — the same day as its Palo Alto sibling Green Gables — making the pair among the first modern suburban tracts on the Register in the country. The streetscape has stayed remarkably true to 1954, and the community intends to keep it that way.

Homes here rarely need explaining to the buyer pool: Greenmeadow is a name-brand tract, and it trades like one.
